Mazda’s North American operations will offer a virtual-first model that allows flexible work schedules for teams that can work remotely, Yahoo News reported.

Those who can work remotely will be able to create schedules that best fit personal and professional needs and complete work either remotely, onsite or both, Yahoo wrote, citing the Japanese carmaker.

Mazda North America also will have expanded access to a larger and more diverse talent pool across the U.S., in addition to enhanced career mobility for greater internal career opportunities without geographical restrictions, according to the news site.

“There is a strong link between business culture and business results, and we believe our virtual-first workplace concept enables everyone to contribute from where they feel most productive,” Mazda North America President and CEO Jeff Guyton said, according to Yahoo.
