Businesses are experiencing “really positive results” from the “work-home-revolution” spurred by the Covid-19 pandemic, according to Todd McKinnon, the chief executive officer of Okta Inc., a U.S. cloud identity-management firm.
The shift to working from home will likely be permanent as companies are seeing increased productivity with their remote workforces, McKinnon said in an interview with Yahoo Finance.
Okta has seen demand for its products, which include services to manage employees’ online permissions, surge amid concerns over cybersecurity as more workers work on unsecured networks at home, he added.
