Zoom, a cloud-based video-conferencing platform, said it expects many organizations to offer their employees a hybrid model of office and remote work once businesses deem it safe for staff to re-enter the workplace.

“With the hybrid working model becoming more prevalent, Zoom is innovating to meet the needs of its customers today and planning ahead for their future needs,” the San Jose, California-based company said in a press release.

Among new products Zoom is offering to meet the challenges of a hybrid mode is “Zoom Rooms Appliance,” which lets organizations monitor their meeting rooms for air quality and humidity to “keep occupants safe and healthy,” according to the company.
