As if you didn’t have enough things you’d rather not be thinking about, New York-based Fishbowl, a workplace social network, found in a survey that 10 percent of people are only wearing underwear during video conference calls.
The most popular below-the-waist attire is pajamas, sweats, shorts or leggings (75 percent), followed by jeans (12 percent), then underwear, then professional attire (3 percent), the report said.
In addition, men were three times more likely to be in skivvies on Zoom calls than women, the poll showed.
Other revelations of the survey were that remote workers also foregoing makeup (for women) and shaving (for men). About 54 percent of women have completely stopped wearing makeup and 30 percent of men have completely stopped shaving.
