Looking for a 160,000-square-foot space in San Francisco for your workers? The New Montgomery Street headquarters of Yelp, an online platform for business reviews, will soon be available as the company plans to move to a smaller space amid the shift to remote work, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
Yelp follows other technology companies such as Twitter and Dropbox in downsizing its home office as the Covid-19 health crisis has upended work habits in favor of remote work.
“Once it’s safe to return to our offices, we plan to continue to operate with a significant portion of our team working remotely on a full-time basis, or for part of the week,” meaning that less office space would be required, the newspaper reported on February 3, citing a company statement.
Yelp will remain based in San Francisco, according to the report.
