Uber will allow its employees to work both on site and remotely when its offices reopen in September, CFO Magazine reported.
An internal survey at the ride-sharing company showed that two-thirds of its employees want a hybrid model, with many saying they missed in-office camaraderie, the report said.
Uber’s hybrid work model will allow staff to work from home for up to two days a week.
“We feel that this combination of in-person and remote work will give people the freedom to do their best work while staying connected to their colleagues,” Nikki Krishnamurthy, Uber’s chief people officer was cited as saying by the magazine.
