The U.S. Navy is set to extend its remote-work policy even as many servicepeople obtain Covid-19 vaccinations, FedScoop reported.

Sailors and other personnel will continue to work remotely at 50 percent of the time, the site said.

“This update continues to build on what we have learned about combatting Covid-19 while still maximizing our operational readiness,” Vice Adm. Phil Sawyer told the news site. “The key is for everyone that is eligible to get vaccinated.”

The Air Force and Army are also in discussions regarding their telework policies, FedScoop reported.
