The Spanish government will allow about 230,000 employees to work from home three days a week after the pandemic ends, the Anadolu Agency reported.
Telecommuting will not be available to all government employees as some jobs require in-person work, such as teachers and judges, the news publication wrote, citing Miquel Iceta, Spain’s minister of territorial policy.
Those who work primarily from home have the option to choose a hybrid work model, the report said, adding that remote work will remain voluntary for government staff.
