EMAG, Romania’s largest online retailer, will allow 3,000 employees at its headquarters, customer-care centers and information-technology hubs to continue working remotely at least partially even after the pandemic ends, Romania Insider reported.

Ninety-seven percent of eMAG employees reported wanting to combine remote work with office work, the news group said, citing a poll conducted by the company.

Almost all (96 percent) of employees surveyed reported feeling more productive working remotely, with 78 percent saying they were more comfortable working from home, the report said. However, only 37 percent reported feeling connected to their team.
