Renault reached an agreement with French trades unions that will permit thousands of its employees to work from home for as many as three days a week, Reuters reported.

The French carmaker plans to offer support and training on how best to work remotely, the news service said, citing the company.

Renault’s hybrid work offering will be on a voluntary basis and based on two days of working from home per week, with an additional day at the manager’s discretion, according to Reuters.

About 20,000 employees in France will be eligible to work remotely, the report said.
