The town of Lebanon in Pennsylvania is the top-ranked destination for remote workers looking to relocate, according to a study by real-estate website Ownerly.
With a cost of living at 2 percent to 5 percent below the U.S. average, a median house value at under $200,000 and average rent below $900, Lebanon claimed the top spot for remote workers considering relocating, the report said, topping El Paso, Texas at the No. 2 spot.
Ownerly analyzed 304 cities throughout the U.S. for its study, where it looked at rent, housing prices, cost of living, safety data, level of broadband and free wi-fi coverage, access to parks and amount of sunshine in an average year.
Two other Pennsylvania cities — York-Hanover and Lancaster — were tapped as the No. 3 and No. 4 top destinations in the list, respectively.
