Most remote workers in the U.S., Canada and the U.K. expect their employers to share some of the cost savings from not having to host a full in-office staff, a survey by Elements Global Services showed.

When asked if they should benefit “from the inevitable savings companies will enjoy” because of remote work, 60 percent of American and Canadian workers said yes, while 66 percent of Britons agreed, the poll said.

Elements Global Services surveyed 1,545 Americans, 386 Canadians and 355 U.K. residents in February 2021.
