Nokia will allow its employees to work remotely as many as three days a week beginning in January 2022, Reuters reported.
The majority of Nokia’s employees said they want to work remotely two to three days a week, the news site wrote, citing a survey conducted by the Finnish phone maker.
“The pandemic forced organizations to change. Technology gave people the tools to innovate. In many cases, the results have been too good to go back to the old way of doing things,” CEO Pekka Lundmark was cited as saying.
The company also plans to redesign its offices to designate space for collaboration and meetings, the report said.
