A recent survey conducted by the U.K.’s Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) revealed many insurance professionals want to continue remote work post pandemic, Insurance Business UK reported.

Half of the 3,902 members surveyed anticipate working remotely at least two to three days a week, while one in five expects to spend most of their week in the office, working no more than one day at home, the news publication wrote.

Additionally, one in 10 respondents said they want a full in-office return after lockdowns ease. Finally, one in five respondents said after pandemic related lockdowns end, they still intend to work from home three to four days remotely.

“The results of this survey show the limitations and benefits of remote working have been made clear by the COVID-19 pandemic,” CII chief membership officer Keith Richards told the publication. “Clearly one size does not fit all when it comes to identifying how insurance professionals wish to work once government guidance on working from home changes.”
