Seventy percent of managers worldwide are more open to flexible work models now than they were before the pandemic, according to a study by Zoom.

In addition, about 39 percent of U.S. managers expect more than a third of their employees to continue to work remotely post-pandemic, the study showed.

“The Covid-19 pandemic made remote work a necessity, but the trend is here to stay,” Brendan Ittleson, Zoom’s chief technology officer, said in the March 24, 2021, study. “Some workers will go back into the office after the pandemic, but most others will still collaborate virtually as remote or hybrid employees.”
