Most French employees aim to keep working remotely, at least part time, even as pandemic lockdowns ease and businesses consider reopening offices, according to a survey by Anact-Aract.
About 56 percent of French workers want to continue remote work at least one to two days a week, while 36 percent seek more than three days a week, the poll found.
Still, for 37 percent of respondents, relations at work have deteriorated in 2021, the study showed. Exchanges with managers are less frequent and “the feeling of support from colleagues is decreasing, particularly among non-managers,” it said.
In addition, 63 percent of those surveyed said they are working more in 2021, compared with 48 percent in 2020. About two-thirds (64 percent) of respondents feel “over-connected. Half of the respondents feel tired and 40 percent suffer from isolation, the survey revealed.
