Boston-based Liberty Insurance has told its more than 400 Irish employees that they will work from home even after the pandemic has subsided, according to the Irish Times.

All staff will continue to work from home post-Covid with the option of spending up to two days per week in the office for specific activities or meetings, the Irish Times said, citing the company.

The insurer’s move follows similar initiatives by such companies as Salesforce and Spotify.

Liberty, which announced a 100-million-euro investment in cloud-based technology last year in a move to become fully digital, said the remote-working model will apply equally to all of its 2,000 employees in Europe, including in Spain and Portugal.
