Remote workers in Ireland will receive tax relief on home expenses including heating, electricity and broadband, Insight reported.

Telecommuters will get as much as 30 percent deductions off those expenses, it said, citing a budget speech by Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe.

The policy aims to support remote work while addressing wider issues of living standards, climate change and energy use, according to the Insight report.
