Eli Lilly is offering the quarter of its workforce who are fully vaccinated the opportunity to return to the office at the firm’s headquarters in Indianapolis, the Indianapolis NBC-affiliated WTHR reported.
The remaining 75 percent of the pharmaceutical company’s workers will return to the office on June 12, with social distancing and masks required, WTHR’s said on its news site. About 7,000 employees have been working from home during the past year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We learned a lot about how to do remote work during this pandemic, and we want to embrace the opportunity to have more flexibility for our employees while maintaining a vibrant workplace,” CEO David E. Ricks was cited as saying by WTHR.
