Employees in the U.K. are becoming more accustomed to the idea of a “hybrid” workplace and about a third of them would be willing to give up career progression to continue working at least partially at home, Yahoo .
Thirty-five percent of workers polled reported wanting to continue remote work even if it meant decreasing their chances of promotions within their role, Yahoo said, citing a survey by Ezra, a digital coaching provider.
More than a quarter (28 percent) of U.K. workers surveyed said they would sacrifice company benefits, including healthcare and cars, if they could work at home a few days a week even after it is safe to return to the office, according to the report.
