About two-thirds (65 percent) of European businesses have increased information-technology budgets this year to accommodate continued remote working, according to a study.
The survey by Dynabook of more than 1,000 senior IT decision makers at medium and large enterprises in the U.K., France, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands also found that more than two-thirds (67 percent) of employees are expected to telework following the pandemic.
Cloud-based systems and remote assistance for staff were listed as top priorities for 50 percent of respondents. In addition, cybersecurity infrastructure was cited by 48 percent as a technology-investment priority for the coming year.
