The number of job postings in the U.S. mentioning “remote work,” “working from home” or related terms have more than doubled since the pandemic began in 2020, according to a report by Indeed Hiring Lab’s economists.

About 7 percent of the U.S. job postings in February 2021 on Indeed, a job-listings website, were remote versus 2.9 percent in January 2020, the report said.

The study noted that the share of remote-job postings continues to increase even as many workers have returned to the office.
